My carrot harvest, pulled right before last weekend’s storm. Probably more than a pound of carrots from just two 1-1.5 gallon pots and one 3 gallon pot—not a bad haul, especially since I didn’t thin them whatsoever. They are sweet and tender, and my delicious staple veggie for the week!
Seeds@City Urban Farm is a program at San Diego where you can get a degree in urban sustainable agriculture that provides CSA offerings and has an incredible demand from its students.
Totally checking this out.
