Waiting to hear back from grad schools is already killing me, and it’s only been a couple of weeks since all of my applications were sent in. At this rate, I’ll be curled up in a ball and rocking in a corner by late February/March.
Also, I cannot wait until I finish my second thesis chapter. Which will probably be when I’m 60, since I started it in early December, but keep taking week long breaks from it. I just hate writing literature reviews, and this particular one seems to never end (despite the fact that there isn’t exactly a dearth of material to review on my topic). Plus it looks like I won’t be doing any in-person interviews like I’d originally planned, which makes me feel like a lazy researcher since I never found the time to go out and make connections and recruit participants. My e-mail interviews look really interesting though, so I’m looking forward to coding those later in the month.
