This is what my version of heaven looks like.
My inner 13-year-old boy is telling me that this is the greatest site ever made.
I came across this post while browsing, and it is incredibly tragic and horrifying. (Trigger warning for transphobia and ablism.)
This is a tragic example of how severely our legal systems are still failing trans and queer people. Everyone should give this a read
This photograph by Belgian-born, Australia-based Magdalena Bors (1976-) conveys a magical sense I associate with knitting. Though many think of this activity as a lame, housewife-like way of killing time, I´m convinced it involves some magic.
Other photographic works by Bors can be seen in her website.
Awesome SPACED fan art by Pierre-Luc Boucher.
I need this as a poster. Or wallpaper. Or a (temporary) tattoo.

Need. This. Now.
Baby socks are the most adorable item a person could ever knit. I may never stop knitting these again.
So apparently, one of my best friends since childhood had a healthy baby this morning.
Only she didn’t know she was pregnant. For the last 7 1/2 months. She went to the hospital this morning because she was having back pains.
… This makes that damned “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” TLC show that much more frightening than it already was.
And now, I must pull my jaw off the floor and try to assuage my shock through emergency baby knitting.
